Concept & Vision · Project 2026

The first AI agent proven to run Primavera P6 end-to-end.

Sage reads live schedule data, writes updates, and triggers full recalculation — the same actions a human scheduler takes inside the P6 client, driven instead by natural conversation.

Two proof points, run against a live P6 instance

Every result below was produced by Sage operating directly against a real Primavera P6 EPPM database — not a simulated environment or a scripted demo.

Foundational proof

A single duration change, cascaded correctly

On a live P6 EPPM instance, Sage looked up a real project, changed an activity's duration from 160 to 240 hours, and ran a full F9 recalculation. The three downstream activities each shifted forward by exactly 14 calendar days — the correct cascade for a 10-working-day increase on a 5-day work week — with every activity retaining its correct duration afterward. No spreadsheet export, no manual re-entry, no P6 client UI.

Full-scale proof

A complete project, built live from scratch

Sage built a complete project live — roughly 30 activities across 8 WBS nodes, ~34 relationships, up to 16 labor, non-labor, and material resources, ~29 resource assignments with computed costs, and multiple activity code categories — with schedule dates and costs matching a hand-verified training manual's own answer key. It then enabled multiple float paths, ran F9, and produced a correct float-path report — six distinct paths, Gantt-format, with Total Float — directly from the live schedule.

The full vision

Seven phases, from live operations to a governed command center

Sage's roadmap moves from proven, live P6 operations toward a fully governed autonomous scheduling platform — and eventually a portal project teams work inside of daily.

Phase 1

Core Operations

Live read, write, create, and recalculate against a real P6 database.

Proven
Phase 2

Full Operational Coverage

Resource dictionary, cost & labor assignment, activity coding, multi-float-path control.

Proven
Phase 3

Progress Intelligence

Reads meeting minutes, action logs, and progress reports to draft proposed updates for scheduler review.

Designed
Phase 4

Schedule Analysis

Point-in-time critical-path reporting proven; period-over-period tracking and milestone impact reporting in design.

Partially proven
Phase 5

Enterprise Governance

Full audit trail, rollback, and multi-user approval workflows for regulated environments.

Planned
Phase 6

Extended Intelligence Suite

Cost & EVM (SPI, CPI, EAC, ETC), risk register integration, VDC-aided progress, forensic delay analysis.

Vision
Phase 7

PC3 Command Center

Meeting attendance, unified dashboards, natural-language queries, portfolio rollups across systems.

Vision
Said plainly

Where governance stands today

"Today, when Sage calls a P6 write tool, it executes immediately against the live database — there is no approval step in front of it. Reaching Phase 5 is what turns a proven operational capability into a governed one, and that work has not started yet."
Current state
Live writes execute without an approval gate
What closes the gap
